- When can I redeem FIFA World Cup 26™ match tickets using my AAdvantage® miles?
AAdvantage® status members will receive exclusive access to FIFA World Cup 26™ match tickets:
- Customers with ConciergeKey® membership and AAdvantage Executive Platinum® members can redeem miles for match tickets starting at 10 a.m. CT on Oct. 13, 2025.
- AAdvantage Platinum Pro®, AAdvantage Platinum® and AAdvantage Gold® members can redeem miles for match tickets starting at
10 a.m. CT on Oct. 14, 2025. - All AAdvantage® members can redeem miles for FIFA World Cup 26™ tickets starting at 10 a.m. CT on Oct. 15, 2025.
- Can I view the miles needed for FIFA World Cup 26™ match tickets before my ticket window opens?
Yes, all customers will be able to view the amount of miles needed to redeem for match tickets starting Oct. 8, 2025, even before your redemption window opens. Redemption amounts are subject to change.
- Can I buy match tickets with cash through American?
No, match tickets offered through the American Airlines VacationsSM platform are only available to AAdvantage® members for redemption with AAdvantage® miles. If you don’t have enough miles, you can buy more.

- How many tickets can I get?
You can redeem miles for up to two experiences (each consisting of two match tickets) per game, per ticket category type in a single redemption transaction using your AAdvantage® miles.
- What is the difference between category 1 and category 2 tickets?
Category 1 match tickets are “strategically located” in the stadium for a better fan experience. View the seat map for more information.
- I can’t find my match ticket redemption confirmation email. Can you resend it?
First, make sure the email wasn’t sent to your spam or junk mail. The sender for the email is aav.noreply@aa.com and the subject line begins with American Airlines VacationsSM Reservation, followed by a confirmation number.

When you contact us, please provide the AAdvantage® number used to redeem miles for tickets.
- When will I receive my tickets?
Match tickets, including your section and seat assignment, will be available at least 24 hours before the match. You’ll receive an email with more details on how to access your ticket in the FIFA World Cup 26™ App.
- How will I receive my tickets?
A few days before the match, you’ll receive an email at the address provided when redeeming your tickets. The email will include more information on how to access your match tickets.
- Can I exchange my match tickets for a different match?
No, FIFA World Cup 26™ match tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable. However, the tickets can be sent to other guests in your party once tickets are available in the FIFA World Cup 26™ App.
- Does my redemption include any additional amenities?
No, tickets redeemed with AAdvantage® miles include the match tickets only. Transportation, accommodation, food and drinks are not included.
- I’m redeeming match tickets for more than two people for a match. Is it possible for us to be seated together?
If more than one experience (each consisting of two match tickets) is redeemed, we try our best to sit you together, but we cannot guarantee that each pair of tickets will be seated together.
- I want to send my ticket to someone else. How can I do that?
You can send your tickets to your guests and make name changes to others within your party through the FIFA World Cup 26™ App once your match tickets become available.
- I redeemed miles for tickets, but they’re now available for fewer miles. Can you refund the difference?
The amount of miles needed for redemption may change. Tickets are non-refundable once redeemed.
- I redeemed miles for tickets but am unable to attend the match. Can I get a refund?
No. Once redeemed, FIFA World Cup 26™ tickets are non-refundable and cannot be returned or resold.
- Will more match tickets be available after the teams draw?
Yes, you’ll be able to use your miles for Phase 2 match tickets after the teams draw in December — more information to come. Quantities are limited.
- Does FIFA have any age restrictions or other limitations related to FIFA World Cup 26™ match ticket redemption?
All match ticket holders under the age of sixteen (16) must attend with an adult. The full terms and conditions that all match ticket holders must comply with when attending a FIFA World Cup 26™ match can be found in the applicable Terms of Use and Stadium Code of Conduct.

Miles are usually deposited right away but it can take up to 8 hours. If it’s been more than 8 hours, please contact us.
- I bought miles to prep for the ticket redemption, but the match I wanted isn’t available or requires more miles than expected. Can I get my miles refunded?
